BEAUTY

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful and eco-friendly of them all?

A beautiful person is first and foremost a neat person. But the care is not limited to the perfect make-up or styling, but to the care we have both for ourselves and, equally, for the environment.

Therefore, how can we keep our appearance clean, pleasant, beautiful with minimal impact on the environment?

  • Choose products which are not tested on animals

  • Say no to body care products that are packaged in non-recyclable containers

  • Replace the plastic toothbrush with a bamboo one

  • Choose a shampoo and shower gel with glass containers

  • Use reusable cotton swabs

  • Opt for vegan, organic, cruelty free products

  • Allow your hair to dry naturally

  • In addition to organic hair care products, you can also choose organic styling tools, because the combs and hair brushes contain a lot of plastic. Choose a bamboo brush with wooden bristles.

  • Try to give up makeup at least one day a week

  • Limit water consumption when brushing your teeth

  • Use menstrual cups or reusable pads

  • You can choose multivalent bathroom products

  • Carefully read the labels of the products you use and choose certified organic or natural products. Although they are more expensive, they are more powerful so in the end you will need less.

  • Pay attention to hair brushes and make-up brushes - they are often made of animal hair

  • Use thick layer sunblock, no less than 30 SPF

  • Do not buy too many products at the same time

  • Choose smaller options that you can't keep for too long

  • Choose reusable variants, with minimal packaging and opt for glass containers

  • Test a product before you buy it so you don't have to throw it away

  • Choose a roll on or stick antiperspirant and avoid those with aerosols

  • Do not use disposable razors

  • Use ammonia-free hair dye

  • Choose a perfume based on essential oils or natural flavors

  • Give up disposable plastic ear swabs

  • Recycle expired make-up products - check with distributors
